I got to attend Aunt Britt's wedding ceremony in it's entirety and didn't even cry!  I even spent a good 8 minutes at the reception!  I think I was the hit of the wedding!  (Oh yeah, except for Aunt Britt and Uncle Bryce of course!)

Staying at the Faculty Club at UC-Berkeley is pretty fun!  My smart and resourceful Mom designed this cool floor gym for me using the luggage rack.  In some ways, I think it's better than mine at home since it's quite easy to adjust the location of each toy.

Well, we're off to Aunt Britt's wedding in California!  Mix a 6 hour flight and a 4.5 month old girl and what do you get?  Well, actually it could have been a lot worse.  Although there were some very tough moments, most crises were mitigated thanks to a lot of preparatory disaster planning on Mom and Dad's part.  All in all, things turned out pretty well.

Since the whole doorway jumper thing seems a little scary, particularly without a double-doorway in our house, Mom and Dad got me this cool Jumperoo.  It's all the rage these days.  It's cool and all but I just don't get why they design these things for giants.  I've got two books underneath my feet (note I'm stepping on JFK's head) and I'm still swimming in this thing.  Oh well, we'll try again in a little bit...

Since Sarah, Jay and Simon brought over the Wednesday club high chair just for me, I just had to try it out.  Even though I'm not eating solids yet, I asked Mom and Dad to do a nice mock-up with the bowl and all to get a feel for things.  Although I appear fairly happy here, I had a bit to say about this new setup and am trying my best to reserve judgment.  Maybe we'll try this again in a week or two...

P.S. Note the groovy Grover bowl which Dad used when he was my age.  Now that's old! 

Simon came to visit yesterday.  We had a good heart-to-heart and I put my hand on his arm to assure him that everything was going to be okay.  Even though he's all grown up, we had room to spare in this larger-than-life chair which continues to amaze me.

Is this a wacky hairdo or what? Just kidding...Merely a case of 'plant hair' due to the background.

I performed a ten-second recital today using only my feet.  It was a lot of fun and I think Mom and Dad really like it.

Mom had to oil up my head again today to perform a little cradle cap maintenance.   I guess this just goes along with the territory of a little tyke.  Not the most pleasant thing in the world, but I do get to wear this cool cap.

The weather is a changin' so today I tried out some of my Fall clothes on for size.  I'm going for the casual, hip look.  I think the bubbles in my mouth really add a nice touch...

Yes, I'm a goofball sometimes.  What can I say?  It's in my blood...

Somebody else has been joining me in my crib as of late.  I'm still trying to figure out who it is, but they're awfully cute!

This rolling thing is kinda cool.  I've been working on incorporating some "footwork" and other technical elements into my program as well.  I think I've almost got it mastered...

This tummy time stuff is no sweat now!  I don't even cry anymore.....though I have been known to drool up a storm!!

Boy, am I whooped today.  Think it's time for the three of us to take a cat nap.

Sometimes there's so much to take in that I just need to sit and Zen out to contemplate things for a while. 

Here I am counting the number of times I got up in the middle of the night last night.  As you can see, I'm sporting quite an attitude these days.  I've gotta work to keep up my image ya know... 

P.S.  No, that's not a gang sign I'm flashing and the baggy pants are just for comfort.

Bath time is a lot more fun now that I'm in the 'big girl' tub as opposed to that little teeny one I bathed in before.  Tonight I kept kicking my legs and smiling as I watched the waves and bubbles bobbing across the tub.  I guess I'm just so excited that Aunt Kris is coming to take care of me for the first time tomorrow.  I can't wait!

By now you've probably figured out that I'm enjoying books quite a lot these days.  I stare at the pictures a lot more than when I was just a youngin' and I really like helping turn pages!

I'm really enjoying this awesome book from Aunty Frances.  The pages have nice plastic tabs on them for easy turning and the crinkly pages are just the coolest.  And yes, in case you were wondering, I can read upside down...

I had a major breakthrough today.  Despite all of the time I have spent swaddled, I've officially figured out the art of focusing my attention on an object (stationary or slowly moving), willfully reaching for it, and successfully grasping that item for further study.  Sometimes I enlist the help of my other hand.  I find that munching on the object after procuring it helps me do more thorough research of that object's finer details...

Jerry has taken a liking to my play gym.  I have yet to see him stare or bat at any of the cool toys hanging from above, but I guess he just loves it because it reminds him of me :-)  It's fine with me.  I have plenty of other toys and am happy to share.  Hmm, maybe he'll share some of that interesting cat food with me in return...

I just love hanging out with Mom as she plays the piano.  I often lose track of time while listening since I'm having so much fun.  I feel very fortunate to have such a great teacher.  I'm also thankful that Grandpa and Grandpa H. gave us this great piano!

The three of us went to the Bay today and I decided to take the plunge and test out the water.  Ahhhh, so warm!  I think I'm going to enjoy swimming very much.   Mom, if you're reading this, can you be sure to sign me up to get on that waiting list for the swim club down the street?  Thanks.

Don't you just love my new hair style?  Mom and I are in the middle of a cradle cap eradication session so I thought I'd give you a progress report.  Quite lovely if I do say so myself.

After a long, hard day and one of my larger-sized feedings I have been known to do silly things.  Sometimes I will attempt to play games with my bottle or babble continuously for a minute straight.  I guess I'm the silly, talkative type of drunk.

Check out the cool chair and ottoman that Grandpa and Grandma T. left for me.  Thought I'd kick back and try it on for size today.  This must be the world's largest chair.  Either that, or maybe I'm not quite as big of a girl as I once thought.  Hmmm... I'll have to mull that one over and get back to you.

P.S.  Notice my preference for "one sock off, one sock on".  Diddle, diddle dumpling doesn't have anything on me!

I've been studying Mom's musicianship and technique earnestly these days.  I think I've almost got Bach's Art of the Fugue down pat...

P.S.  Notice my leisurely practice attire and the glob of drool on the bottom on my neck.  Wait a minute!  I don't have a neck!  Okay, okay I'm getting sidetracked here...  I tend to drool when concentrating on my music.  "It's my thing"...

Boy, have I got it made.  A stylin' bouncy chair, a nice toy and a comfy sleep sack. Who in their right mind wouldn't be smiling?

I'm trying to break the world record for number of smiles in one day.  Think I can do it?

These hands are amazing, I tell ya.  What more does one need in life than their mom and dad, a binky, and their own hands to stare at in constant amazement?

I took my first road trip today.  We went all the way to Philadelphia which is a big deal for me.  We had a fantastic time until I had a complete meltdown in the car on the way home, but that's another story...  My boyfriend (Isaac) and I had a lot of fun playing together.  I even let him sit in my cool pod chair.

Today is my last day to spend time with Grandmpa and Grandma T. before they head out.  I will surely miss them.  We had a great time together.  Grandpa took this nice photo of us before leaving.

I've been doing much more with my hands these days.  Sure, Mom and Dad may have to help me out here and there, but I just love munching on my hands and bringing whatever else might be attached to them to my mouth.  I've been known to bonk my head with this rattle, but it's still one of my favorite toys now.
