I don't know why Mom and Dad bother with half of the crazy toys in our house.  Don't they know by now that non-toys are the best toys?

The world is full of endless possibilities.

Between my ever-changing face and always-increasing palette of facial expressions,  it seems I'm sporting a new look with each passing day.  I don't recall what I was saying here, but whatever it was must have been really important.

It sure was considerate of Mom and Dad to put all of these soft, cushy devices on every table corner.  They come in really handy as a toy or snack!

I'm not so sure that Mom and Dad will find this as an acceptable long-term eating posture, but it sure is comfortable.

P.S. - Yes, I'm strapped in.  The straps are just in stealth mode.

It's ten minutes before seven which means its time for some good books before bed.  My latest favorites include Ten Little Ladybugs, Percival the Plain Little Caterpillar,  and the one I'm reading here, From Head To Toe.

This has been a recurring phenomenon lately.  I tend to wear my shirt more like a scarf for a while before bedtime since I'm quite the squirm worm as night-night draws nigh.

I've been observing Mom in the kitchen quite a bit lately and, as her apprentice, have been acting in the capacity of Garde manger.  If I keep at it, maybe she'll appoint me Sous chef some day.

By the time supper rolls around, sometimes I'm just too tired to lift the cup.

I think this guy is more than just a cookie monster.  Where did all of my food go?

P.S. - Don't I look a lot like someone else in the family here?

I got to hang out with the big kids at the tot lot today. I sure hope Mom and Dad take me back again really soon.  We had so much fun.

P.S. - If you are able to figure out what on Earth this girl has riding in the swing next to me, please let me know.  As you can see in the video, I spent a good minute or two puzzling over this one.  Some kind of chicken, maybe?  How strange.

Check out the latest cool toy Mom picked up at the consignment store.  There are these cool pieces that stack up and fall into holes and the table top even flips over.  It's also great for practicing my pulling up and standing.

P.S. - Yes, I know I look like a boy in this picture.  What's wrong with that?

Tonight Megan put on a short recital during her flute lesson with Mom.  I had the best seat in the house as I finished my dinner!

Maybe it's just me but I don't get it.  These cats sure don't seem very busy to me...

I definitely know who that cute girl is in the mirror now.  It's me!

I have a grand total of four teeth now.  I often check in with a thumb, finger or my tongue just to stay apprised of the situation.

As of today I can crawl for real!  I'm also starting to learn how to balance while standing up. Check it out by clicking on the image!

Boy, things sure do look different in here now.  Now that I'm getting closer to being able to pull up on my own, Mom and Dad decided to see how I fare in a bumperless environment.  Sure, I may end up bumping my noggin a tiny bit but at least I won't get tangled up or (eventually) use the bumper as a tool to jump on out of here.   Peek-A-Boo sure isn't the same anymore, that's for sure.  We'll see how this goes...

Brrrrr (which incidentally is one of my favorite words these days)!  We managed to venture outside with Simon and his parents since it finally warmed up a bit today.  Check out my cool new snowsuit from Anna, Roger, Zack (Zach?) and Chelsea.  Very toasty in here.

Okay, I'm starting to figure this thing out.  Sure, I'll continue to use this piano in manners inconsistent with the manufacturer's recommendations, but that's just my resourceful and inquisitive nature.  I am, however, also beginning to explore the keys and their sounds for their own sake.  This is truly one my favorite toys.

Okay, so my hair is wet and crazy looking.  I've encountered this many times.  This is no big deal.

Well, I guess this isn't so bad.  I'll get used to it.  Actually, it's kind of growing on me.  Now if only Mom could learn to like it...
